DESCRIPTION:Class Information\n\nSpanish Conversation for Heritage Speakers
  &amp\; DLI Students\nAges: Children ages 5–12\nLanguage Level: For chil
 dren who already speak or understand Spanish\, including students enrolled
  in a Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program\n\nDescription:\n\nThis class 
 is for children who already have Spanish in their lives and would like mor
 e opportunities to speak\, practice\, and feel comfortable using the langu
 age. It is a good fit for children who speak Spanish at home as well as st
 udents who are learning Spanish through a DLI program at school.\n\nThroug
 h conversation\, stories\, games\, questions and answers\, and interactive
  activities\, children practice expressing themselves in Spanish\, expand 
 their vocabulary\, and learn to use the language in a variety of everyday 
 situations.\n\nThe focus is on speaking and listening. Children have regul
 ar opportunities to talk with their instructor and classmates\, share idea
 s\, describe experiences\, ask and answer questions\, and practice using S
 panish beyond the classroom.\n\nThe class provides a welcoming place for b
 ilingual and Spanish-speaking children to keep using Spanish\, strengthen 
 their speaking skills\, and become more confident expressing themselves in
  the language.\n\nNo Class: Please note\, this class will not meet on Nove
 mber 28.\n\nMaterials &amp\; Classroom Resource Fee: A $15 fee is collecte
