DESCRIPTION:Class Information\n\nAges: Children and teens 10–15\nLanguage
  Level: Level 1 — For complete beginners and students with some Spanish 
 experience who are new to ILSCA\n\nDescription:\n\nThis welcoming drop-off
  class gives children and teens ages 10–15 a comfortable place to begin 
 learning and using Spanish. It is a good fit for students who are complete
 ly new to Spanish as well as those who have had some Spanish at home\, sch
 ool\, or another program and are new to ILSCA.\n\nThe class changes with t
 he seasons\, introducing new Spanish vocabulary\, expressions\, topics\, a
 nd activities connected to the time of year. Students explore themes such 
 as nature\, weather\, holidays\, celebrations\, everyday life\, and cultur
 al experiences\, while continuing to review and build on language they hav
 e already learned.\n\nThrough conversation\, questions and answers\, games
 \, stories\, interactive activities\, and guided practice\, students begin
  using Spanish in simple\, practical situations. Lessons give students opp
 ortunities to listen\, speak\, build sentences\, learn new vocabulary\, an
 d interact with their instructor and classmates.\n\nThe class provides a s
 upportive place for students to become comfortable hearing and speaking Sp
 anish\, build their vocabulary\, and develop their communication skills at
  their own pace.\n\nNo Class: Please note\, this class will not meet on Fe
 b 13 &amp\; Mar 27\n\nMaterials &amp\; Classroom Resource Fee: A $15 fee i
 s collected by the instructor on the first day of class. Please bring the
