Ages: Adults 18+
Language Level: Level 2 — For adults who have completed Level 1 or have equivalent Spanish experience
Description:
This welcoming class is for adults who already have some Spanish and are ready to continue building their skills through conversation and guided practice. Students build on what they learned in Level 1 while learning new vocabulary, phrases, and ways to communicate in everyday situations.
The focus is on speaking and listening through guided conversations, questions and answers, practical topics, and interactive activities. Students have regular opportunities to speak with the instructor and other students, express ideas, describe experiences, and practice using Spanish in conversation.
Grammar and vocabulary are introduced in context, giving students opportunities to review what they already know while learning and practicing new language. The class provides a supportive place to keep using Spanish, expand vocabulary, ask questions, and become more comfortable participating in conversation.
This class is a good fit for adults who want to move beyond the beginning level and continue developing their practical Spanish skills.
No Class: Please note, this class will not meet on Feb 13 & Mar 27
Materials & Classroom Resource Fee: A $15 fee is collected by the instructor on the first day of class. Please bring the fee in cash in an envelope with your name on it.
