Ages: Children ages 5–12
Language Level: No prior Chinese experience required

Description:

This welcoming Mandarin Chinese class gives children ages 5–12 a fun and supportive introduction to the language.

Through games, songs, movement, stories, and hands-on activities, children learn everyday Chinese words and phrases while practicing listening, speaking, and understanding. The class encourages children to participate, interact with others, and become comfortable hearing and using Mandarin.

Children are encouraged to participate at their own pace while building confidence and enjoying the experience of learning a new language.

This is a drop-off class, and children participate independently with the guidance and support of their instructor.

A $15 Materials & Classroom Resource Fee is collected by the instructor on the first day of class to support materials and resources provided for the course.
