Class Information

Ages: Children 7–12

Language Level: Beginner – No prior Mandarin Chinese experience required.

Description:

This beginner Mandarin Chinese class introduces children ages 7–12 to the language through interactive activities in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Through games, stories, guided conversations, and hands-on activities, students learn everyday Mandarin vocabulary, useful phrases, and simple sentences while practicing listening and speaking. Lessons encourage students to interact with their instructor and classmates and begin using Mandarin in familiar, everyday situations.

Students are encouraged to participate at their own pace, ask questions, and become more comfortable communicating in Mandarin as they learn.

This is a drop-off class. Children participate independently with guidance and encouragement from their instructor.

No Classes: March 27.

Materials Fee: A $15 Materials & Classroom Resource Fee is payable directly to the instructor on the first day of class. This fee is separate from tuition and covers classroom materials and instructional resources.
