Class Information
Ages: Children 6–12
Language Level: Beginner – No prior Spanish experience required.
Description:
This online beginner Spanish class welcomes children who are new to the language and provides a fun, supportive environment where they can begin learning and speaking Spanish.
Throughout the session, children explore seasonal themes, everyday experiences, nature, holidays, and topics that connect to their interests. These themes introduce useful Spanish vocabulary and expressions while helping students build on what they learn each week.
Through songs, games, stories, movement, and interactive activities adapted for online learning, children practice greetings, numbers, colors, family vocabulary, and everyday expressions. They are encouraged to listen, repeat, answer questions, and begin using Spanish in simple conversations.
Our small-group setting gives children opportunities to interact with their instructor and classmates, practice speaking, and develop their language skills at their own pace.
Online Format: Classes meet live through Zoom, allowing children to interact with their instructor and classmates from home.
Class Participation: Children participate independently, with guidance and encouragement from their instructor.
No Classes: March 24.
