Kids Spanish 2 (Ages 6-9) – Sat
Class Information
Ages: Children 6–9
Language Level: Continuing Spanish – For children who have completed Beginner Spanish or have equivalent experience.
Description:
This continuing Spanish class welcomes children ages 6–9 who already have some experience with Spanish and are ready to build on what they have learned in a fun, supportive environment.
Through interactive games, stories, movement, hands-on activities, and guided conversations, children expand their vocabulary and practice using Spanish in everyday situations. Lessons explore familiar topics such as family, school, hobbies, animals, daily routines, and personal interests.
Conversation is an important part of each lesson. Students practice asking and answering questions, forming longer sentences, describing experiences, and sharing simple ideas in Spanish. Activities help children use vocabulary and expressions they have already learned while introducing new ways to communicate.
Our small-group setting provides opportunities for children to practice speaking with their instructor and classmates, receive guidance, and become more comfortable expressing themselves in Spanish.
This class is a good fit for children who are ready to move beyond beginner vocabulary and continue developing their listening, speaking, and conversational skills.
Class Participation: This is a drop-off class. Children participate independently, with guidance and encouragement from their instructor.
