Ages: Children 6–12
Language Level: For children who have been introduced to Spanish and are ready to move beyond the beginner level
Description:
Spanish Conversation 2 is for children who already have some Spanish and are ready for more opportunities to listen, speak, and use the language. This live online class provides a supportive setting where children participate independently with the guidance of their instructor.
Throughout the session, children learn through seasonal themes, vocabulary, and activities. As the seasons change, they learn new Spanish words and phrases connected to the time of year, nature, holidays, and everyday experiences, while continuing to build on what they have already learned.
Through conversation practice, songs, games, movement, stories, and interactive activities adapted for online learning, children expand their vocabulary and strengthen their listening and speaking skills. The class gives children opportunities to answer questions, express themselves, and use Spanish in simple conversations.
Online: Classes meet live online, so children can participate from home with the guidance and support of their instructor.
