Class Information

Ages: Children 6–9

Language Level: Beginner – No prior Spanish experience required.

Description:

This beginner Spanish class welcomes children ages 6–9 who are new to the language and provides a warm, supportive environment where they can begin learning and speaking Spanish.

Through songs, games, stories, movement, and hands-on activities, children explore useful Spanish vocabulary and everyday expressions. Lessons introduce familiar topics such as greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, school, and daily activities.

Conversation is an important part of each lesson. Children practice listening, asking and answering simple questions, forming short sentences, and using Spanish to communicate with their instructor and classmates.

Activities build on what students learn each week, giving them opportunities to review familiar words, explore new vocabulary, and become more comfortable speaking Spanish.

Our small-group setting encourages participation and provides opportunities for children to practice at their own pace, with guidance and encouragement from their instructor.

Class Participation: This is a drop-off class. Children participate independently, with guidance and encouragement from their instructor.

No Class: November 28.

Materials Fee: A $15 Materials & Classroom Resource Fee is payable directly to the instructor on the first day of class. This fee is separate from tuition and covers classroom materials and instructional resources.
