Ages: Children 3–5
Language Level: Level 2 — For children who have completed Level 1 or have equivalent Spanish experience

Description:

This welcoming drop-off class is the next step for young children who already have some experience with Spanish and are ready to continue building their skills. Children participate independently with the guidance and support of their instructor.

The class changes with the seasons, introducing new Spanish vocabulary, phrases, songs, stories, and activities connected to the time of year. As the seasons change, children explore themes such as nature, weather, holidays, celebrations, and familiar everyday experiences. Each season brings new vocabulary and activities while continuing to review and build on what children have already learned.

Through songs, stories, games, movement, repetition, conversation, and hands-on activities, children practice listening and speaking, expand their vocabulary, and begin using more Spanish in familiar situations. Activities give children opportunities to use language they already know while adding new words and phrases.

The class provides a supportive place for children to keep using Spanish, build on their previous experience, and become more comfortable expressing themselves in the language.

No Class: Please note, this class will not meet on Feb 13 & Mar 27

Materials & Classroom Resource Fee: A $15 fee is collected by the instructor on the first day of class. Please bring the fee in cash in an envelope labeled with your child’s name.
