Class Information
Ages: Children 18 months–3 years with a parent or caregiver
Language Level: All levels welcome — no Spanish experience required. Children with some Spanish exposure are also welcome.
Description:
Spanish Parent & Me gives young children and their parent or caregiver an opportunity to learn and experience Spanish together. The adult participates alongside the child throughout the class, creating a comfortable and interactive setting for children at different stages of language exposure.
The class changes with the seasons, introducing new Spanish vocabulary, songs, stories, and activities connected to the time of year. Children explore themes such as nature, weather, holidays, celebrations, and familiar everyday experiences, while continuing to review and use words and phrases from previous classes.
Through songs, movement, stories, play, repetition, and interactive activities, children hear and use simple Spanish words and phrases in age-appropriate ways. Children who are hearing Spanish for the first time can begin becoming familiar with the language, while children who already have some Spanish exposure have opportunities to practice and expand what they know.
Parents and caregivers participate throughout the class and can continue using simple Spanish words, phrases, songs, and activities together at home.

No Class: Please note, there will be no class on November 28.
Materials & Classroom Resource Fee: A $15 fee is collected by the instructor on the first day of class. Please bring the fee in cash in an envelope labeled with your child’s name.
