Class Information
Ages: Children 18 months–3 years with a parent or caregiver
Language Level: All Levels Welcome – No prior Spanish experience required. Children with some Spanish exposure are also welcome.
Description:
Spanish Parent & Me welcomes young children and their parents or caregivers to explore Spanish together in a warm, playful, and supportive environment.
Throughout the session, children learn through seasonal themes, nature, weather, holidays, celebrations, and familiar everyday experiences. These themes introduce simple Spanish words and expressions while reinforcing vocabulary from previous classes.
Through songs, movement, stories, play, repetition, and interactive activities, children become familiar with the sounds of Spanish and begin using simple words and phrases in age-appropriate ways.
Children who are new to Spanish can enjoy their first introduction to the language, while those with previous exposure have opportunities to practice and build on what they already know.
Our small-group setting encourages children to participate at their own pace while enjoying time learning alongside their parent or caregiver. Families can also continue practicing familiar songs, words, and expressions together at home.
Class Participation: A parent or caregiver participates alongside the child throughout the class. Activities are designed for adults and children to enjoy together.
No Class: March 27
Materials Fee: A $15 Materials & Classroom Resource Fee is payable directly to the instructor on the first day of class. Please bring cash in an envelope labeled with your child’s name. This fee is separate from tuition and covers classroom materials and instructional resources.
