Class Information
Ages: Adults 18+
Language Level: Beginner – No prior Portuguese experience required.
Description:
This beginner Portuguese class welcomes adults who are new to the language and would like to start learning in a comfortable, supportive online environment.
Through guided conversations, interactive activities, and practical exercises, students learn everyday Portuguese vocabulary, useful expressions, and simple sentence structures. Lessons focus on listening and speaking, with opportunities to practice Portuguese in familiar situations such as greetings, introductions, asking questions, and everyday exchanges.
Students also explore aspects of Portuguese-speaking cultures while practicing with their instructor and classmates.
Our small-group setting encourages participation, questions, and regular practice, allowing students to develop their Portuguese skills and become more comfortable communicating at their own pace.
Online Format: Classes meet live through Zoom, allowing students to interact with their instructor and classmates from home.
No Classes: March 27.
