Operating Policy

Tuition Refunds

You must pay for your class in full before the first class begins. To get a refund, you must send a written request 72 hours before the second class of the term. You will receive a prorated refund, minus a $25 handling fee. If you request a refund after the second class, you will not receive a refund, credit, or transfer under any circumstances. Workbook purchases and materials fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or postponed to a future term.

Classroom Homework

Students should contact the office for homework assignments when they are absent.

Class Cancellations

Students at ILSCA sign up for a specific language class that meets once a week at a specific day and time. If you can’t attend a class, there is no makeup class. We reserve the right to cancel a lesson or class at any time due to the small class size and our commitment to hiring faculty based on registration. If enrollment is below 3 students, we may cancel the class. If we cancel a class during the term, we will schedule a makeup class or provide a substitute teacher.

Private Class Cancellations

Classes can be rescheduled or refunded if you tell us at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. Otherwise, you will still be charged the full fee. We may make exceptions for family tragedies and other circumstances at our own discretion.

Privacy & Releases

Website Privacy Policy

If you want to sign up for a class, you must fill out a liability form on this webpage. Google Forms creates this form, and Google keeps it safe. If you can’t mail us a check or pay in person, we can process your payment through Zelle. We do not share your personal information with anyone outside of the International Language School for Children and Adults. If you agree to our privacy policy, we will only use your personal information to send you the information you asked for.

Photo Release

Users agree that ILSCA may use any photos or videos taken during classes, programs, events, or at our facilities for promotional purposes at any time, for as long as ILSCA has the photos or videos. Neither the user nor any participants listed above will receive any compensation for this use.

Safety and Waiver Release

Your safety and the safety of those you care for are important to us. ILSCA has general liability insurance for its operations, but we do not have medical insurance for injuries sustained by users while using our services. Therefore, please review your health insurance policy or policies for coverage.

You agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages, or losses that you or your minor (if any) sustain. You give up any rights, claims, causes of action, and liabilities of any kind that you, your spouse (if any), or minor (if any) may have now or in the future against the company, its owners, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, and any other partners or employees for any personal injuries, medical expenses, property damage, or losses sustained by you, your spouse (if any), or minor (if any) arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with the Service.

You understand that you must be in good health before participating in any or all activities. You also understand that serious accidents may occasionally happen to participants during transportation to or from such activities and during activities incidental to such an activity. Knowing these risks, you expressly assume those risks and agree that under no circumstances will you, nor any of your heirs or successors, present any claim or action against the International Language School for Children and Adults.

Permission to Secure Treatment

If there is an emergency, you allow and permit a certified emergency professional or healthcare professional to give you or your minor (if any) any medical treatment that is needed, even if you cannot be reached. You agree to pay for all medical services that are needed.
