Class Information

Ages: Children ages 6-12
Language Level: No prior Spanish experience required

Description:
This welcoming drop-off Spanish class is designed for children ages 5–12 and provides a supportive place to begin learning and using Spanish. Children participate independently with the guidance and support of their instructor.

Throughout the session, children learn through seasonal themes, vocabulary, and activities. As the seasons change, they explore new Spanish words and phrases connected to the time of year, nature, holidays, and everyday experiences, while continuing to build on what they have already learned.

Through a variety of songs, games, stories, movement, conversation, and hands-on activities, children practice listening and speaking and become familiar with useful Spanish words and expressions. Activities are adapted to the children in the class and provide opportunities for both younger and older learners to participate, practice, and use Spanish.

Children are encouraged to participate at their own pace and become more comfortable hearing and using Spanish as the session progresses.

No Class: Please note, this class will not meet on Feb 11 & Mar 25

A $15 Materials & Classroom Resource Fee is collected by the instructor on the first day of class to support materials and resources provided for the course.
